Senior Pets

Senior pets are the hardest ones to find new homes. They are often overlooked for younger animals. To hopefully have adoptors give them a second look, the Humane Society of Monroe County will reduce the adoption fee in half for any animal 5 years and over.

Don't miss our next event: Our low-cost Vaccine Clinic Saturday, June 14, 2008, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm at the Humane Society of Monroe County shelter, 833 N. Telegraph Road, Monroe, MI. The low-cost vaccine clinic is our way to service our community that has been so good to support us. We will offer low-cost services for dogs for heartworm testing, 5-way vaccine, bordatella, nail trimming, ear cleaning and for cats for leukemia testing, 5-way vaccine, rabies, nail trimming and ear cleaning.

We hope that you find our site useful and informative. You can find information about us and our policies for the adoption process. Look for cats and dogs that are available for adoption. Check out upcoming events and opportunities to volunteer. See what sort of animal, cleaning, and office supplies are needed by the shelter and administrative office.

As a non-profit, no-kill organization that accepts no government support we rely strongly on your support through memberships and donations. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.
