April 11, 2015 Funds for Furry Friends Benefit Dinner & Auction: Our largest annual fundraising event, the “Funds for Furry Friends” dinner and auction will be held on April 11, 2015. Proceeds from the auction are used to provide food, shelter, and medical care for the homeless animals in Monroe County. This year our theme is “The Silver Screen”. Celebrate the Legends of Hollywood at our red carpet event and support your local humane society. Tickets are available at the shelter (833 N. Telegraph) or at the thrift store (15649 S. Telegraph). You can also purchase tickets by calling with a credit card to (734-240-0562). Ticket prices are $50/per person or you may purchase a Friends & Family table for 10 persons for $400.

Did you know HSMC has a thrift store? 

The HSMC thrift store is located at 15649 S. Telegraph Rd. (next to Monroe Motor Sports), Monroe, MI, 48161. all profits from our thrift store help the animals at our shelter! We accept donations of household items, furniture, decor, etc. We accept many different items from sports gear to children’s toys. We  do not accept used clothing and /or used shoes.
