Beckman's picture Bailey
  • Female
  • 4 years old
  • Labrador Retriever/Chesapeake Bay Retriever
  • Chocolate
  • Large
  • Coat-type: Double, oily, harsh outer coat; dense, wooly undercoat (waterproof)
  • Group: Sporting - Companion
  • Energy Level: Moderate

I was surrendered by my former family. Best suited for a home with experienced pet owners who are knowledgeable and familiar with the breed and either opposite sex/similar size housemate pet, or no other housemate pets. Bailey will need sound leadership and continued training and socialization.

Bailey’s adoption fee is $130.00

Bogey's picture Bogey
  • Male
  • Approx Birthdate January 2009
  • Vizsla/American Staffordshire Terrier
  • Golden Rust (solid)
  • Medium-large
  • Coat-type: Single, short, close, and glossy
  • Group: Sporting/Terrier - Companion
  • Energy Level: Moderate

I was a stray that was brought to the Humane Society. Bogey is highly-social, gregarious, and very responsive; he craves human companionship and will languish if left alone for long periods of time. He will need a home with an active lifestyle and a family willing to continue his training and socialization and meet his moderately high exercise needs daily. Bogey will only be placed in a home with, either an opposite sex/similar size housemate pet, or no other housemate pets.

Bogey’s adoption fee is $130.00

Bowser's picture Bowser
  • Male
  • 1 year old
  • Treeing Walker Coonhound
  • Tri-color
  • Large
  • Coat-type: Single, short, close, and glossy
  • Group: Hound - Companion
  • Energy Level: Moderate-high

I was surrendered by my former family. Although Bowser is a gentle companion and good family dog, his exercise requirements (like most Hounds), make him ideally suited in a home with an active lifestyle and a secure environment where he can safely roam; he is neither suited for long periods left alone, nor apartment or urban life.

Bowser’s adoption fee is $130.00

Bronco's picture Bronco

  • Large
  • Coat-type: Double, outer coat is harsh and straight
  • Group: Working (Spitz-Northern)/Terrier – Companion
  • Energy Level: Moderate

I was a stray that was brought to the Humane Society. Bronco exhibits a natural ability for agility and flyball, accomplishing focused, free-fall capture and retrieving leaps over 6’ into the air with effortless and graceful landings amazing to behold. Bronco is best suited for a home with a moderately relaxed lifestyle and either, an opposite sex/similar size housemate pet, or no other housemate pets. Sound leadership and continued training and socialization will help ensure his success as a well-mannered and obedient canine companion.

Bronco’s adoption fee is $130.00

Landin's picture Landin
  • Male
  • Approx Birthdate June 2009
  • Border Collie/American Staffordshire Terrier
  • Black and White
  • Medium
  • Coat-type: Single, short, close, and glossy
  • Group: Herding/Terrier - Companion
  • Energy Level: Moderate-high

Immediate intervention was required by the HSMC on behalf of Landin when good Samaritans contacted us for help after witnessing him being thrown from a window and left to fend for himself by his previous owners. His injuries (concussive right leg injury) have healed nicely; all that Landin needs now is TLC and a family who has strong leadership abilities and who is willing to continue his training and socialization. Landin is best suited for a family with a moderately active lifestyle. Being a puppy and a Border Collie means he will need daily leashed walks and a safe and secure area in which to romp and play with human and/or canine companions.

Landin’s adoption fee is $160.00
